Kagome:"Sorry. I didn't wake you up did I?"
Inuyasha:"No...Kagome..."
Kagome:"What is it?"
Inuyasha:"Tell me something, why were you crying?"
Kagome:"Back in the other room?...Because, I thought I was going to loose you. I thought you were gonna die.
Inuyasha:"You shed tears for me...cried for me...Kagome,if it's not too much trouble, may I lie on your lap?"
Kagome:"Huh?"
*Kagome nods*
Kagome:"How do you feel? A little better than before?"
Inuyasha:"Yes. Kagome...you smell kinda nice."
Kagome:Huh? Okay, thats it. You made a point of telling me before that you couldn't stand my scent."
Inuyasha:"I did...but I was lying..."
Kagome(thinks):Maybe this poison really had gone to his head...and yet, all this talk has my heart pounding..."

*Soul gatherers are putting souls in Kikyo*
Kikyo:"To live is to die, to die is to live. My name is Kikyo. I am a priestess who is unable to leave this world and reach the sacred place. No. That is not entirely the truth. Once, I was a priestess. Now, I am but a corpse with a cursed, false existence. No matter how much I desire to do good and help others...the truth is, I live off the souls of the dead. Pure is inpure, inpure is pure. Good is evil, evil is good. Or is it?"
*Soul gatherers finish putting souls in Kikyo. She walks away*
Kikyo:"In the hearts of men, lies both good and evil. The two co-exist. Some men become good, and others become evil. It is the way of this world."

Kagome:"Inuyasha, shouldn't we be staying?"
Inuyasha:"Should we?"
Kagome:"The villagers, they think Jinenji's been eating people. You know they do. Maybe he is different, but that doesn't mean that he's guilty."
Inuyasha:"But that's what it does mean when you're 'different'. Nobody trusts you, you're always the first to be blamed, and it is always, always your fault!!"

Kagome:"So..."
Inuyasha:"Yeah?"
Kagome:"Did that kinda thing happen to you too?"
Inuyasha:"Did what happen?"
Kagome:"Bullying. Were you picked on?"
Inuyasha:"Hmph, yeah right. I don't roll over for anybody."
Kagome:"No, of course not. (thinks) Meaning of course, that he was.
Inuyasha:"I'm not one or the other..."
Kagome:"Huh?"
Inuyasha:"Not really a demon, not really human, I'm not either."
*Inuyasha stops walking*
Inuyasha:"That's all. There was no place for me, so I had to make one for myself. And then I realised, I had a place, but I was the only one in it. I didn't know any other way to live."
Kagome:"Inuyasha, I'm just..."
*Inuyasha turns round to face her*
Kagome:"Happy to hear it."
Inuyasha:"Happy how?"
Kagome:"Well it's just that you've never opened up and talked to me like that before. I'm glad you have. I've always wandered about your past you know. I told myself you were all bark and no bite, and I wasn't sure. I'm happy you can talk to me seriously, that's all."
Inuyasha:"And that makes you happy?"
Kagome:"Uh-huh. So don't be worried about showing me your soft side, okay?"
Inuyasha:"Hmph, you make me sound like some pet who needs company."
Kagome:"What's wrong with that? It's nice not to be alone."
*Kagome walks ahead with her bike*
Inuyasha (thinks): That's true. I'm not alone am I? Somehow without my ever noticing it, it felt so natural, having Kagome here.

*Kikyo throws some Shikon shards to Naraku. Naraku silently looks at her*
Kikyo:"You wanted it, didn't you? Demon Naraku? Or is it..."
*Kikyo smiles cruely*
Kikyo:"Half-Demon Naraku?"
*Naraku glows*
Naraku:"A mere half demon, I, Naraku?"
Kikyo:"True, you've disguised yourself well. But you're still that fugitive human. And the blood of who you once were can never be erased. You seek the sacred jewel to become a full fledged demon, do you not?"
Naraku:"If so, why give me the shards? Am I not the one you seek to avenge your death fifty years ago?"
*Kikyo laughs*
Kikyo:"It was only my body that died. I may have left it behind that day. But with this new one, I'm even stronger. I don't ask that you understand."
-Inuyasha episode 33.
Kagome:"Hey, sorry I worried you, k? Thank you for saving me."
Inuyasha:"I bet you would have preferred it if I didn't show up at all! It doesn't take much does it? A few sweet words?"
Kagome:"What doesn't take much? Does it bother you that Koga said he loved me? Is that it? Does tell me you're jealous."
Inuyasha:"Grr...Why would I be jealous of that jerk!? I don't care!!"
Kagome:(thinks)"Yeah, like, right!" (says) "Not that it's any of your business, but Koga's not my type okay?"
Inuyasha:"Hmph. I wasn't askin'. I don't care what you do. I don't want to talk about it anymore, so just spare me!"
*Kagome sighs*
Inuyasha:"So..."
Kagome:"Hm?"
Inuyasha:"What exactly happened between you guys?"
Kagome:*Happy*"Inuyasha..."*MAD*"What do you take me for anyway!? I have some self respect! I can't believe you'd even ask me that!"
Inuyasha:"Well you don't have to bite my head off!!"
Kagome:"You JERK! Don't you get anything!?"
Inuyasha:"If I'm such a jerk, then stop tagging along and gettin' in the way! I'm tired of wasting my time rescuing you!!"
Kagome:"I see...Sango..."
Sango:"Huh? What is it?"
Kagome:"Can I borrow Kilala?"
Sango:"What are you going to do?"
Inuyasha:"Heh, she misses her wolf boy already!"
Kagome:"I'M GOING BACK HOME STUPID! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!? YOU'RE SUCH A JEEEEERK!!"
*Kagome flies away on Kilala*
Shippo:"When she's angry, she can be really scary!"
*Inuyasha clings to rock*
Inuyasha:"I wasn't scared...Go back home! See if I care!!"

Kaede:"Inuyasha, stupid is as stupid does. You need to be more careful with your speech."
Inuyasha:"Are you callin' me stupid, you old hag!? What do you know about it? You weren't even there!"
Kaede:"I know this, ungrateful dog, in order to find the sacred jewel shards Kagome's spiritual powers are essential. Yet you made her upset with your words and sent her running home."
Inuyasha:"That was her idea! She chose to go home, I never forced her! She said, *mimcs Kagome* "I'm going home...STUPID!" "
Kaede:"Inuyasha?"
Inuyasha:"Yeah, what?"
Kaede:"That imitation was pathetic."
*Inuyasha falls off fence*
Inuyasha:"I'm a demon, not a comedian!!!"

*Inuyasha is walking through a forest*
Inuyasha (thinks):No. There's no way I can ask her to come back. Kagome understands that perfectly. I have to go. I gotta see her and say goodbye forever. Or I can't move on.
*Inuyasha sheilds his eyes from the blinding sun, looks, and sees Kagome sitting on the bone eater's well.*
Inuyasha (thinks):Kagome...
*Inuyasha and Kagome stand opposite each other*
Kagome:"I went back to the present and thought it over. Wondering about you and Kikyo. And about me."
Inuyasha:"Kagome, I'm so..."
Kagome:"It's okay. I understand how you feel and because of that I convinced myself that I couldn't stay here with you."
Inuyasha:"Kagome, until I met you,I never trust a living soul but, I watched you shed tears for my sake. You've always stayed by my side. Whenever I'm with you, I feel so peaceful and happy. But I...I'm not supossed to be all ease and chearful. Kikyo...Kikyo came after me and lost her life. It's only right that I repay her with my own life."
*Kagome nods*
Kagome:"I can't compete with Kikyo. Because after all, I'm still alive."
*Kagome sits down on the well*
Kagome:"I've given a lot of thought about Kikyo. She and I are completely different. There's been all this talk that I'm the reincarnation of her, even if that's true, I'm still not Kikyo. You see, my heart belongs to me. Here's the thing, I do understand one feeling that Kikyo has, something that we share, we're alike in our desire to be with you again. Strange you know, the moment it hit me that Kikyo and I were connected by this desire to be with you, I felt a little bit better. The desire to be with you gives us a common bond. That's how I was able to summon up the courage to come and see you."
Inuyasha (thinks):Kagome...all this time I've been wanting to see you too but...
Kagome:"I want to be here with you Inuyasha. I tried to forget you but I can't."
Inuyasha(thinks):Kagome...what kind of answer can I give you?
Kagome:"Inuyasha, may I ask you a simple question?"
*Kagome gets up from the well and walks towards Inuyasha*
Kagome:"Inuyasha, will you let me stay?"
Inuyasha:"So...you'll stay with me?"
*Kagome nods*
Kagome (thinks):I can never break the bond between Inuyasha and Kikyo. I understand that. But there's another thing I've come to realise Inuyasha. My meeting you was no coincidence, it's more than that. Deep down you must know that I want you to live.
Inuyasha:"Kagome..."
*Kagome grabs Inuyasha's hand*
Kagome:"Now then, let's go."
*They start walking together*
Kagome (thinks):I want you to be happy. I want you to laugh a lot. I don't know what exactly I'll be able to do for you.
*Inuyasha's hand clasps around Kagome's* ^-^
Kagome (thinks):But I'll always be by your side.
Inuyasha episode 48:Return To Where We First Met. (It's my favourite episode.)
*Inuyasha holds an unconcious Kagome in his arms*
Inuyasha:(thinks)Kagome...forgive me. Please forgive me...If I hadn't failed you, you'd...you'd still be right here now...
Kagome:"Inuyasha..."
Inuyasha:"Huh?"
Kagome:"I can't, I can't breath..."
Inuyasha:"Kagome?"
*Kagome opens her eyes*
Kagome:"I'm kinda...dizzy..."
Inuyasha:But you were..."
Myoga:"That's to be expected. I sucked out a lot of blood with the poison."
*Myoga finishes sucking blood out from Miroku*
Myoga:"Wow I gotta tell ya, even for me this poison packs quite a wallop."
Inuyasha:"Are you telling me that you..."
*Miroku wakes up, eyes closed, dreaming*
Miroku"Well, well,"
*Miroku strokes Myoga's head*
Miroku:"So you'll bear my child then?"
Myoga:"Should'a let this one die..."
Myoga rolls away*
Shippo:"Miroku?"
Miroku:(*opens eyes*)"Huh? Was it just a dream? How disappointing..."
Shippo:"I should have known you were dreaming about women."

*Inuyasha lays Kagome on the ground and turns around, so that his back is to her*
Kagome:"Inuyasha?"
*Shippo runs in front of Inuyasha and looks at him*
Shippo:"Huh? Hey what gives Inuyasha? I thought men never show their tears no matter what."
Inuyasha:"Shut up!"
*Inuyasha hits Shippo on the head*
Myoga starts to roll towards Inuyasha*
Myoga:"Don't be silly Shippo. I have served Master Inuyasha for many many years and I have never once seen him shed tears."
*Shippo jumps onto Inuyasha*
Shippo:"Then watta you call these babies."
*Myoga jumps onto Inuyasha as well*
Myoga:"Let me take a closer look..."
*Inuyasha punches them both off at the same time. Inuyasha turns around.*
Inuyasha:"Why should I cry? Everyone's alive now aren't they?!"
Kagome(thinks):Inuyasha...thank you.

Inuyasha:"Why? Why did it have to come to this? Kikyo used her spiritual powers to protect the sacred shikon jewel from demons. I too needed the jewel so I could become a full fledged demon."
*Inuyasha is pinned to a tree by Kikyo. She puts her arrow away and starts to walk off.*
Inuyasha:"Will you stop it! Why do you never finish me off!?"
Kikyo:"Stop coming after the jewel, I have no wish to waste more arrows."
Inuyasha:"I merely wanted the jewel for myself. I had no intention of killing Kikyo. It became clear that Kikyo did not intend to kill me either."
*Kikyo is sitting on a hill*
Kikyo:"Inuyasha, I know you're watching me. Please, come join me."
*Inuyasha sits next to Kikyo on the hill*
Kikyo:"It's the first time we have spoken like this."
Inuyasha:"What's your point?"
Kikyo:"Inuyasha, what do you think of me? Do I seem ordinary?"
Inuyasha:"Huh? Where're you going with this?"
Kikyo:"I must never reveal my weaknesses to anyone. I must never waver. If I did, a demon would get the better of me. Inside, I am an ordinary woman, yet, I cannot reveal myself as such. In many ways we are simalar, both outsiders. That is why I was unable to kill you."
Inuyasha:"Hmph."
*He gets up.*
Inuyasha:"Quit whinin'. It's not like you at all."
*Inuyasha starts to walk off, but then turns around.*
Kikyo:"You're right, I shouldn't complain."
Inuyasha:"When I saw Kikyo's sad and lonely expression, I felt guilty, for the very first time in my life. After that, I couldn't get her out of my mind. She was always by my side, and I, by hers."
*Inuyasha and Kikyo are sitting on a hill in the setting sun.* (My fav Inuyasha and Kikyo scene, it looks really nice!! ^^)
Inuyasha"Me become human?"
Kikyo:"It's possible. It's true that you are half demon, but you are also half human. If the sacred jewel of the four souls falls into the hands of a demon, their powers would undoubtably increase. However, if it was used to turn you into a human, it would be purified. The jewel of the four souls would probably cease to exist."
Inuyasha:"And then what? What would happen to you?"
Kikyo:"My duty is to protect the jewel."
*Inuyasha and Kikyo are sitting on a boat.*
Kikyo:"Without it, I could live the life of an ordinary woman."
*Kikyo gets off the boat, but trip. Inuyasha catches her. Kikyo looks up, and they hug.*
Inuyasha:"I had no second thoughts. I knew I could live with Kikyo. As a human. I longed for such a life. But the say she was to bring me the jewel..."
*We see arrows flying through the air. Inuyasha didges them.*
Kikyo:"Die Inuyasha!!"
Inuyasha:"She betrayed me!! Kikyo betrayed me! As soon as I let down my guard, she tried to slay me! I mangaed to dodge the arrows and went to the village to steal the jewel. And that's when she bound me to the tree."
*Kikyo holds her shoulder and a red light shines from it. She takes her ahnd away and we see blood on both her shoulder and her hand.*
Kikyo:"Why did you betray me Inuyasha!!??"
*Inuyasha is walking, holding his shoulder.*
Inuyasha:"How did it come to this?"
*Inuyasha cries out from the pain in his shoulder and falls to the ground, face down.*
Inuyasha"How did it go so wrong? It wasn't supposed to be like this!!"
*He rolls over, now facing the sky.*
Inuyasha:"Kikyo!!!!"
