Personality:Inuyasha isn't the nicest guy in the world to say the least. He can be selfish and often says the wrong things which end up upsetting people. He does tend to get nicer though as the series progresses. Also, his feelings for Kagome also grow as the series progresses.

Info:Fifty years ago Inuyasha fell in love with Kikyo, the protector of the Jewel of Four Souls, the Shikon no Tama. But then a demon called Naraku disguised himself as Inuyasha and injured Kikyo. Naraku then disguised himself as Kikyo and tried to injure the real Inuyasha as well but Inuyasha dodged 'Kikyo's' arrow. The real Inuyasha, then believing that Kikyo had betrayed him, stole the Shikon no Tama. But then Kikyo, who was tricked by Naraku, thought that Inuyasha had betrayed her. So as Inuyasha escaped with the jewel Kikyo sealed him against a tree with one of her arrows. Now, fifty years later, Inuyasha along with Kagome and their friends search for the shards of the Shikon no Tama and for a way to destroy Naraku.
